Semi-truck driver dies in fiery Brevard County crash, troopers say

A yet to be identified male truck driver was killed early Sunday morning about 4 a.m.in a crash that occurred on Interstate 95, just north of State Road 46 in Mims.

All northbound lanes of I-95 were blocked following the crash, troopers said.

Florida Highway Patrol have not released the name of the driver who caused the crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man failed to slow down as his semi approached the rear of the first semi.

Troopers said Robert Goff, 52, suffered severe injuries after being ejected from his motorcycle during the accident and was pronounced dead at Tallahassee Memorial.

The other semi driver, a man from MS, was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.
