Testimony has resumed in a civil trial over whether Taylor Swift was groped by a former radio DJ.

Swift used the word "ass" dozens of times on the witness stand as she told jurors that David Mueller reached under her skirt during a meet-and-greet photo op in 2013.

After the allegations came to light, Mueller reportedly lost his job and then sued Swift for $3 million, alleging her complaint led to his unfair dismissal.

Mumbai: American pop star Taylor Swift has secured a legal victory in an ongoing sexual assault trial against ex-radio host David Mueller.

Taylor Swift countersued former DJ Mueller over claims that he groped her during a meet-and-greet prior to her concert show, explaining it as a "long grab" that she was "completely sure" that it was intentional.

In a deposition a year ago, Swift said, "He reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for the photo, and it felt intentional that that would be the time he would choose to do it".

Her defiant, hour-long testimony came four days into a rapidly moving trial that is scheduled to last almost two weeks.
