Our baby girl is here sweet Ada James Akins came into the world at 10:28 last night after nearly 36 hours of labor (only Jesus got me through that-& she is sooo worth it).

Little Ada James is the couple's second child, joining her 21-month-old big sister Willa Gray, whom the couple adopted from Uganda back in May.

Rhett and his wife shared the news of baby Ada's birth on Sunday (Aug. 13).

"Thank y'all for the prayers - she is a miracle and God is so good", she continued. Thank labored nearly 36 hoursShe is by far the strongest human being I have ever met and I have a new found respect for moms around the world. "Thomas Rhett and I are so I love with her".

Country music star Thomas Rhett's brood continues to expand.

Biological Baby Akins came as a surprise to Rhett and his wife: Lauren realized that she was pregnant shortly after the couple began the process to adopt Willa - even though they had stopped trying to get pregnant.

"My wife @laur_akins labored for nearly 36 hours", he continued.

Rhett goes on to reveal that Lauren labored for a little more than 36 hours, with the impressed father writing, "She is by far the strongest human being I have ever met and I have a new found respect for moms around the world". "Thank you Lord & everyone for the prayers".

In February, the couple announced that they were not only expecting, but they were also in the process of adopting a baby girl from Africa.

Akins also posted the same snap to her Instagram account, referencing the 36-hour labor, "Only Jesus got me through that, and she is sooo worth it".

"We've already added a crib to our tour bus", he said.

"We are all doing well now, just resting", Lauren added on social media. Her dad called me and said, 'If you don't come over here tonight and tell Lauren how you feel about her, then I'm going to tell her how you feel about her. ...

As for having two girls? "I'm just gonna love them so much", he confessed.
