Wenger asks Arsenal fans to be united after Community Shield victory

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has repeatedly stressed the need for his side to make further signings before the end of August, and said prior to Sunday's penalty-shootout defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield that he is anticipating the "most hard season" of his managerial career.

"It's new... first impression is, I'm not a fan", he said. Should they keep Philippe Coutinho, Liverpool has the most risky attack in the Premier League. But sometimes these decisions make you a bit angry.

After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, the shoot-out saw goalkeeper Courtois, an unusual choice to take his side's second penalty, bizarrely fire his attempt way over. I don't see a £34million difference to be perfectly honest.

"I replied. My reply is always one, otherwise it means I was telling you a lie". Alvaro Morata only played 16 minutes and missed a penalty on his debut.

The Blues were growing into the game as the half progressed, although Willian was booked for simulation after pouncing on a loose ball inside Arsenal box, but the last chance of note fell to Iwobi who fired straight down the throat of Courtois.

A unsafe striker partnership of Lukaku and Marcus Rashford, along with a stronger defense thanks to the purchases of Lindelöf, and the anchor that is Nemaja Matić, should have Manchester United winning the Premier League.

The Frenchman, who signed a two-year contract extension after a record seventh FA Cup win, admitted the uncertainty over his future last season may have resulted in ill-feeling.

If Premier League teams are taking advantage of such situations then those in the Champions League will have a field day.

"I would say that the Premier League has, in my opinion, taken over from the Champions League interest-wise.

I am really focused on the team, on what I have to do when the manager calls on me".

"But we had the intensity in the games in our preparation that is needed to be ready".

'There's always ways to improve and we will obviously sit back and analyse this game, where we were good and where we were bad and hopefully we can improve our performances and keep on getting better and better'.
