One home has been lost along with several other outbuilding in the Monument Hill Fire.

The notices are for Adams Road and areas north of Road 13-NW and Road J.8-NW.

The fire is burning in sage, grass, and crops.

The Washington Fire Marshal said at least 10 homes were under mandatory Level 3 evacuations, and state mobilization had been approved to help battle the Monument Hill Fire. Under a State Mobilization order, specialists from the Fire Protection Bureau have ordered six wildland strike teams and two dozers.

The Red Cross will be opening a shelter at midnight at Quincy High School for those who need emergency assistance.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page, "Level 3 (evacuation) means you are in immediate danger".

The fire is northeast of Quincy and is reportedly being driven in that direction. Grant County says multiple agencies are on scene fighting the large wildfire Wednesday night, but they do not know exactly how big the fire is. Residents in the area were instructed to leave immediately; the rest of the public was warned to stay away.
