Kate Middleton Says Prince William Struggled with Becoming a Father

Kate Middleton revealed her daughter's absolute favorite - or favourite, rather - hue on the color wheel during a visit to London-based childcare center, Hornsey Road Children's Center.

The Duchess of Cambridge has disclosed that the Duke of Cambridge struggled when he became a father for the first time.

Michelle added: "She was asking about what Jacob liked and he said he liked aeroplanes and she was asking if he'd seen a Spitfire and we said we liked going to the Science Museum and RAF museum".

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told IBTimes UK: "This is obviously intended to comfort the fathers who struggle with parenthood but whose problems are often ignored".

Regardless of their very different circumstances, Middleton saw something familiar in the 39-year-old's situation. One of the charities providing support services is Family Action.

Kate was originally scheduled to visit the North London centre in early September, but had to cancel last-minute due to her severe morning sickness.

And though there might have been a lot of interest in the coat she wore (an admittedly very nice cream one from Goat, recycled from her 2013 pregnancy with Prince George), volunteer worker Maggie Sandy said her visit had much a bigger impact.

It's one of the groups offering care at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre, where Middleton and Billy were chatting.

He continued: "Kate has also spoken about its challenges which affected her confidence, the younger royals are being far more outspoken about various forms of trauma and mental illness to help sufferers".

And Charlotte, who will celebrate her third birthday on May 2, 2018, has been dressed in the traditionally feminine shade plenty of times during her public outings.
