A big new update is coming for Pokemon GO.

The new build arrives 48 hours after the arrival of Beta 4 and does not contain notes specifying new features, but generally, this type of build includes security enhancements and bug fixes already known.

The latest update will add the AR+ mode.

This utilisation of AR will have Pokémon to have a fixed place in the world meaning that players will be able to go up to them and see them to scale. Both developers and public beta testers can expect this build this week. The reason for Niantic being, "This change is a result of improvements to Pokemon Go that push the application beyond the capabilities of the operating systems on such devices". So if you are one of the millions of mobile gamers still addicted to catching 'em all and you haven't let Apple's seemingly planned obsolescence model scare you away from using an older device it may be time for an upgrade or rehab. Hopefully, this new update to Pokemon GO is worth it.
