Gregg Popovich: Kawhi Leonard is game-time decision

The Spurs will try to close out their Western Conference semifinals without their best player Kawhi Leonard. Simmons will be playing in front of his hometown fans in Houston and is coming off a solid job of defending Rockets top scorer James Harden in Leonard's absence in the previous game.

With only one win, and the Spurs and Rockets will head to a final decision, Game 7, who will advance to the Western Conference Finals.

San Antonio was up by 23 after the third quarter and scored the first seven points of the fourth to make it 94-64 and send numerous home fans streaming to the exits. With Tony Parker out for the playoffs and Kawhi Leonard having to sit for much of the 4th quarter and all of overtime in Game 5 against the Rockets, Ginobili stepped up once again. The All-Star forward is averaging 27.8 points and 7.7 rebounds while shooting at a 53 percent clip thus far in the playoffs. Harden was brilliant through most of Tuesday's game, finishing with a triple-double " 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Game 1 of the conference finals is Sunday at Golden State.

Trailing 3-2 in their best-of-seven playoff series and facing elimination, the Rockets sputtered early and found themselves in a deep 61-42 hole against the San Antonio Spurs.
