Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has signed a new contract with Chelsea until 2020, the Premier League champions have announced on their official website.

He will rejoin Turkish side Kasimpasa on loan for the rest of this season, having played 26 times for the Istanbul-based club in 2015-16.

He spent last season on loan at fellow Turkish side Alanyaspor.

The new contract is the fourth the Nigeria worldwide will sign with the English champions, without having ever kicked a ball for them.

"God is Faithful. Happy to have renewed my contract with Chelsea FC until 2020 and also good to be back to Kasimpasa for one year, " the defender wrote on Instagram.

The Nigeria International can play nearly everywhere in defence as well as in centre midfield although Omeruo has mainly been playing as a centre defender throughout his career.
