United matched their thumping win over West Ham last weekend with another 4-0 victory at Swansea on Saturday, scoring four or more goals in their opening two league games for the first time since 1907.

Clement was pleased with Swansea's defensive work until Romelu Lukaku doubled the visitors' lead, with late goals from Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial adding further punishment.

"It happened to me so much with my teams - you're winning 1-0 and you can can concede". Just let the horses run freely, and we were magnificent.

Phil Jones also struck the bar in the ninth minute for United with an effort that came off his shoulder from Juan Mata's inswinging free kick.

Swansea, who earned a goalless draw in their opening game at Southampton, are still looking for their first goal of the Premier League season.

With that being done, the 24-year-old has now become the fifth Manchester United player to have scored in two consecutive games, behind Ibrahimovic, Martial, Macheda and Saha.

"Anthony Martial is working hard, he is confident" Mourinho said.

1 - Number of games that Swansea have failed to score at home against Manchester United. My question is how many clubs in the world are powerful enough buy the best players in the Premier League and the answer is I think is very obvious.

"Even in the stands I had good players I didn't even select".

"It's 4-0 again with a clean sheet, we want to carry on on this road and if we want this we have to carry on like that", said Pogba after the match.

Mourinho told Sky Sports: "It was a different performance [to West Ham] but I think the same kind of confidence, consistency, discipline".

"We are playing happy football because the team is very comfortable on the pitch".

Matic started with a first-class game and will be a huge player if he stays on the park and in the type of form we know he can deliver. We are not getting a great price on this bet but it seems like a banker bet so I am wanting to make it.
