Suspect arrested in fatal crash

A suspect in the case of a single-car crash that killed a man in royalton, has been arrested. Police say he drove his auto into a guardrail on Black River Road in South Royalton, killing James Arbuckle.

Royalton, Vt. - State and Royalton Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal accident late Friday night.

WCAX reported that police have said James Arbuckle, 38, was found dead in the front seat of a auto that crashed into a guardrail and that alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash. Arbuckle was the only passenger found in the vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact Vermont State Police Royalton at 234-9933. Was closed from Green to Bridge streets until shortly after 2:00 am.

The crash is under investigation and police say that alcohol and speed are likely factors in this crash.
